Most people who claim Kim Hubbard is innocent, do not know that Joe Hubbard told police on Nov. 3 that his son “had been acting unusual ever since Jenny went missing, more so after she was found in the cornfield.” Even Joe Hubbard could see that his son’s explanations were thin, including when he was asked how his car got muddy. “Kim told me he got that mud on his car when he was parking with his girlfriend Colleen down at the bottom of Allen Street,” Joe said. “The area there is all cinder.” Joe also said his wife covered up for their son constantly. “Kim has been acting strange since this happened. He acts like a scared mouse. I will speak out in court about this,” Joe said. “My son, Kim, is not right.”

On Nov. 16, 1973, at 11:13 p.m., Hubbard was served with a warrant and arrested for Jenny’s murder. Hubbard was arrested at the same restaurant we would meet at 38 years later.

The Accused: Kim Hubbard

To understand the dynamics of this crime and the aftermath of what Hubbard’s actions and motives were, you have to understand Kim Hubbard. When speaking with him, he wants to be in control. Hubbard will stop and listen during the conversation, but he is not listening to what you say. Instead, he is formulating a thought in order to interject his next topic. Hubbard was prone to violence and troopers during surveillance after the murder saw him punching his sister and pulling her hair. Others saw him slapping his girlfriend and choking her. He was described as a fighter who usually swung first.

Hubbard quit school after the ninth grade and joined the Army. After being discharged, he returned to high school as a much older student. Hubbard maintains his innocence, which is reinforced by the people around him. His glare and voice tone are that of someone who is trying to intimidate and essentially bully. His elaborate webpage goes in very great detail to proclaim his innocence. However, if you break it down and not look at it in general terms, there is only the reasonable conclusion that he is guilty. All Hubbard does is focus in on inconsistencies in testimonies, photographs that are inverted but show the same thing and other non-essential elements of the crime. His conjecture and theories have zero merit and I have disproved many of them.
